To ensure ongoing quality for you, we have received permission to resell all of our products online from the manufacturers’ themselves. This makes TheDispensaryonline one of the only, and sometimes, the only, authorized reseller of the products we carry.

Payment Policy

We accept credit cards via Paypal and phone.

Tax Policy

If you are making a purchase from within Washington State, you will be charged the sales tax rate for your shipping address. Anyone outside the state of Washington is not subject to sales tax.

Shipping Policy

Your order is processed within one business day.

We store and handle all of our products as the manufacturer requests so that you have fresh, potent and pure products for your use.

Products are marked as “in stock” or “ships within one week”. Orders that include only “in stock” items will ship within 3 business days. Orders that include items marked “ships within one week” will ship within one week.

If, for some unforseen reason, a portion of your order is delayed, our policy is to contact you to evaluate your shipping options and requirements. If you have an immediate need for your products, We will ship the ready portion of your order immediately, and send the remainder of your order when it is ready. If you are able to wait, we will hold your order and send it together.

Free shipping may be offered to domestic destinations. International destinations are not eligible for free shipping offers. You may also upgrade to a faster shipping method to US domestic destinations at an additional charge. All delivery times are estimated, not guaranteed, as once packages leave our premises it is USPS’ delivery promise.

Environmental Policy

We reuse paper for our in-store notes.
We use 100% post-consumer paper in the office.
We recycle.
We reuse packaging materials as much as possible for shipping. When shipping products to our customers, we reuse boxes and paper that we have received. If you live in Seattle, we invite you to bring us your clean, used boxes.
We sell products that are environmentally preferable to conventional products.
We use compact fluorescents throughout our clinic.
We carry only companies who are as environmentally-conscious as we are.

Return / Cancellation Policy

Due to the nature of the products we sell, all sales are final. We will accept returns, however, if the products are damaged, discolored or tampered with in a suspicious manner. In such cases, please contact us and we will provide return instructions and a replacement or refund.

Cancelled Orders
The Dispensary retains the right to refuse or cancel an order due to stock-outs, incorrect pricing, or for any other reason. If your PayPal account has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, The Dispensary shall issue a credit to your PayPal account in the amount of the purchase.

Privacy / Security Policy

Email Communications
Automatic order confirmation emails are sent to customers who place orders on our website. In addition, new customers are also sent a welcoming email that contains an initial password and username that can be used to access personal information collected during order placement and to view order history as well as tracking information. Established customers will occasionally receive information on products, and special deals. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.

Email Newsletters
Our site allows users to sign up for an opt-in newsletter. Using the information from the sign up, we send emails from time to time. The information given to us is not shared. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.

Users who are subscribed to our lists and no longer wish to receive our special offers, and promotional communications may opt-out of receiving these communications by using the “Subscription Management” link included in each communication we send or by emailing us to request removal from our lists.

Email a Friend
If a user elects to use our “Email a Friend” service for informing a friend about a product on our site, we ask them for the friend’s name and email address. does not store this information but uses it to automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the site.

Gift Certificates
We also offer “Gift Certificates” delivered via email. The recipients email address is collected for a one-time use in order to deliver the certificate.

Order Fulfillment
As part of the process of order fulfillment, we collect and use personally identifiable information through our shopping cart. This includes contact information as well as financial information. It is used for billing and order fulfillment. If we encounter issues when processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.

We use Paypal when processing credit card orders online. We also accept credit card orders by phone. All credit card processing is performed entirely in-house. Shipping is completed from our Brick and Mortar location in Seattle, WA. In the event that an item is not in stock, we may on occasion ask our manufacturer to drop-ship an item on our behalf, in which case we share your shipping address and name with them, providing the information they require in order to correctly fulfill the order.

Order/Customer Database
We provide you with access to certain of your personally identifiable information in our database. You may view and in certain cases update your personally identifiable information (such as zip code, phone, email or postal address) by visiting the My Account section in Web site ( If you believe that any of the information is incorrect, or you would like to delete/deactivate your personally identifiable information, notify us immediately by sending an email message to , and we will promptly correct erroneous information or delete your information from our database.

Customer Service Requests
Information is collected as part of the process of fulfilling customer service requests. Information such as name, email address and phone number is used in order to respond to the inquiry.

Server Logs
All web servers create and use log files. As is true of most Web sites, we gather Web server log file information automatically such as your IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and operating system, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather general information about which pages are visited. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information. Usage Statistics

Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)
Clear gifs are non displayed graphics that are used for the purpose of additional statistical analysis. Clear gifs are present on our order confirmation page in order to gauge the effectiveness of our paid search engine advertising. We also use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by the recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. If users would like to opt-out of these emails, please see the Opt-out section.

Disclosure of Information
We do not disclose any personally identifiable information collected through the site whether publicly listed elsewhere or not, except as disclosed in this statement or as required by law. Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with an appropriate law enforcement investigation, current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our website, or as required by law.

Security of Collected Information
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. The security of your personal information is important to us. We do not record any credit card information on our site. Instead we use Paypal as they are secure sites which have the ability to monitor results. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
